Description

 

The working principle of the silo pump system is dense phase low-speed pneumatic conveying, which transports materials at a speed lower than the suspension speed. At this speed, unlike individual material conveying, the material does not need to be completely mixed with the conveying medium; The material moves along the pipeline in a continuous sand dune like or alternating state between air and material plugs. To some extent, this conveying method allows the conveying speed of materials to be much lower than the suspension speed, thus avoiding the conventional problems caused by high material speed in traditional pneumatic conveying.

The silo pump is equipped with a pressure sealed dome valve that can be closed through a stationary material column. The bin pump adopts a bottom discharge pipe, and the control gas system is installed on the installation base of the first bin pump in the bin pump conveying system unit. Multiple feeding points are connected in series to form a conveying pipeline, and the entire set of silo pumps feed synchronously. The signal from one or more ash hopper level meters will activate the silo pump system to start the conveying cycle.

The silo pump system adopts a dome valve as the feed valve. Within the set feeding time, the dome valve opens and the pressure tank is charged. Once the material is full, the dome valve is closed and sealed; The conveying medium enters the pressure tank, usually using compressed air. The temporary resistance caused by the material will transport the material to the target silo. During the transportation of materials along the pipeline, the air pressure gradually decreases. When the material reaches the target silo, the pressure of the air decreases to near atmospheric pressure, which will be detected by the control system. Then the pressure tank stops feeding, the dome valve opens, and the pressure tank is fed again.

If the bin pump stops continuous circulation, the dome valve will remain closed and there will be no material in the pressure vessel.

The automatic operation of the entire system can be achieved through the material level control devices of the feeding silo and the target silo. The material level control should ensure that the receiving silo is in a full state or meets other requirements. As the main electrical part, material level control can change the conveying cycle by opening the directional function of the shunt valve, and transport the material to any desired target bin.
